Solitaire Cuts

So if you've read Reunion Solitaire -- and if you haven't, forget this blog and get busy with the book -- you no doubt noticed that some of the chapters began with a quote. I wanted all the chapters to start that way, but some of the quotes felt forced or irrelevant. Here are some that got cut:

Adults are just obsolete children and the hell with them.”
― Dr. Seuss
It's never too late to have a happy childhood.”
― Tom Robbins,
Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering.”
― Nicole Krauss, The History of Love
